• Only teams that are registered in the Iowa Region may participate in the Iowa Regional Championships.
  • 15U - 18U Girls Qualifying Divisions - Teams MUST participate in a Region Qualifying Tournament. Tournaments may be found on the Iowa Region tournament website. 
  • Any team that Qualifies in an Open Division before the Regional Championships is not eligible to participate in the Qualifying Divisions at Regionals. If a team wins an open bid before the championships, they will be removed from the division and their entry fee refunded.
  • For Girls Qualifying Divisions:
  • By entering into the Qualifying Division you are REQUIRED to accept a bid for the USAV JNC’s at Regional Championships. If a team declines an earned bid at the Region Championships, the club will be fined $1000. If a club declines multiple bids, the fine will increase by $500 for each team (Ex, one team - $1000, 2 teams - $2500, 3 teams $4500). If fines are not paid, club will not be able to have sanctioned tournaments and will not be able to register for Regionals until all fines are paid. 
  • For Boys Qualifying Divisions:
  • In order to grow the game, the boys teams are not mandated to accept a bid to the Boys JNC. However, to participate in the boys divisions at Regionals, the rosters must follow the USAV national qualifying rules and regulations.
  • For Non-Qualifying Divisions (Gold / Silver):
  • There are no bids awarded for USAV JNC in the Gold and Silver Divisions.

Format


Saturday - Pool Play - AM or PM Wave. Playing formats are created from the number of teams that have registered for the event.

Sunday - Bracket Play.  Bracket formats are dependent upon the number of teams registered for the event.

How to Sign Up

Open to all Iowa Region Affiliated Teams

1. Create an account with TM2Sign


2. Follow instructions how to setup your club and import your members from SportsEngine


3. Create the teams from your Dashboard


4. To enter the event you will click on the "Enter Events" tab on your Dashboard and you can select which teams you want to enter the event. 


5. From there you can pay with credit card or print off the entry form and mail a check in.


Iowa Junior Regional Championships Registration and Refund Policy


All divisions will be open from December 1st to January 31st or until the divisions are full.  If a division is full, the team may sign up for a different division it is eligible for.  You may place your team on the waitlist if your division is full and if a spot opens up, your team may be moved to that new division.  All divisions have limited space and may fill up before the deadline. 


Teams may register without payment until the registration end date, January 31st. All payments are due by January 31st for all weekends. Any teams that have not paid or made payment arrangements will be removed from the division and put on a waitlist. Once payment is made and if a spot is available the team will be moved back into the event. If no spot is available, they will remain on the waitlist until there is an opening. Any team on the waitlist will need to pay their entry fee immediately or the spot will go to the next team on the list.

 

Any teams requesting to drop will receive a full refund until February 14th. After January 31st teams will only be refunded if a replacement team is found. 


Any team that Qualifies if the Open Division of their age group are not allowed to participate in Qualifying Regional Divisions.  If a team qualifies after acceptance their entry fee will be refunded.
